Your Questions About Affordable Apartments Rancho Cucamonga

George asks…

Should I buy a house in the Inland Empire or Los Angeles?

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles Area, primarily the South Bay cities by the beach and only moved to the Inland Empire (IE) due to a job promotion 3 years ago. Prior to that I never thought of moving to the Inland Empire. I met my husband here in the Inland Empire and right now we rent a small apartment. We are at a serious debate as to where to buy a house. The houses out here are affordable, but I love LA for its cultural-metropolitan-LA ways, food, beaches and diversity (so does he). For some reason I cringe at the thought of living in the IE my whole life, (and I think its because i subconsciously feel LA is better just because its LA, which is so superficial and shallow, since LA has crime, slums and homeless issues like all other large cities.) Both our jobs are in the IE (Rancho Cucamonga). If you were in my position, what would you do? I really don’t want to commute. If you were faced with such a decision, what did you do and why?

Administrator answers:

Go 50/50..
Take 50% and buy where you work
use the other and buy a beach condo
spend weekends..on the beaches you love…..
Lots of areas to look in……..
Doesn’t have to be large…..but a quick “getaway”

good luck
