Do loft apartments include a elevator door or just a normal door?
im a 19 year old about to go to college in chicago and im looking for a loft apartment that has an elevator as a door like in all those movies im not sure but i think all lofts include a normal door can someone help me
Usually, the elevator is in the hall–outside the loft. The door to your apartment is a conventional, locking door. These lofts have all been modified for apartment living.

Closet ideas for Loft apartments?
I am moving into a rather large loft apartment. The only problem is i am a girl, i have ALOT of clothes, ALOT of crap, and Alot of MORE clothes.. And the biggest obsticle is the fact that this loft apartment has NO closets what so ever.
It is going to be my biggest challange. I am not artistic or crafty or creative. I have one dresser and thats the only storage i have for clothing. I am used to having a rather large walk-in closet to hide away all my clothes, and crap in general that i dont want to let go of just yet.
where the heck will put all this stuff when i move into the loft?
The whole apartment is open, except there is a door for the restroom( and of course the front door) its very modern and colorful. I am having trouble thinking of a way of creating a large closet space or a space equal to a closet without it being an eye sore. Ive searched online too. If anybody has any ideas or knows of good websits please send my way!
I am lost without my closet space!
I had a “bonus” room in my house when I moved here…basically a bedroom with no closet. Just as we were about to build a closet (budget of $800), I had an idea…An armoire. I found a HUGE armoire at Big Lots for 99.99. Almost 50 inches wide and 6 feet tall with a rack and 2 shelves as well. In 2 hours we had our “closet”!

a question about loft apartments?
i always see loft apartments in movies and i find them actually to be pretty cool and open for renovation. are these expensive compared to apartments and how does one go about renting one do they have what a humanoid need to live (toilet shower stove ect.) are these hard to get into i like the really old industrial looking ones are those common or are they usually super renovated and new looking are these more common on the east coast or are they everywhere thanks
The loft apartments I’ve seen are part of a community and each connected all in a row. You can tell they’re lofts because the outside looks like a tall “A” frame or salt box style home. Quite beautiful and very clean looking. In the east, they’re usually pretty modern with wood siding but inside very open and feel much bigger because of the high ceilings and open loft bedroom above. One drawback though, sleeping in the loft while having company is nearly impossible (echo).

Where can I find apartments/loft studios for under a grand in Mountain View California?
Web sites are a good place to find an apartment or house to rent, if you want to go through the entire list to find one in your state and then city.
The best place to look for places to rent is to go to the yellow pages of your telephone book, look under property managers.
These individuals list properties for rent in certain areas, so make sure you select the areas in which you wish to rent.
Call several of the property managers listed there, tell them you want a list of properties that they have for rent. Some will fax, email or mail the list of local places to rent along with the address, number of bedrooms and bath rooms, amenities available, such as washer and dryers or gyms, the monthly rental of the unit. Most will include a rental application. These list will include the monthly rental required, if a lease or month to month agreement will be signed. They will also indicate if they will accept Section 8 vouchers. They will also indicate it they have disabled access, allow pets and if so the type allowed.
They might indicate a web site that you might visit to get their list of places to rent. It does not cost to get a rental list from a reputable property manager.
Some will require you to stop by their office and pick up the list. A lot of them post their list outside so the list are available 24/7 365.
Make sure you don’t fall for the scams and purchase a list as 70%-80% of these list are composed of free list they have compiled. They are not the property managers of any property in most instances.
You might also google Property managers in whatever city or community you want to live in and see what comes up. Again do not pay for this information as it is free from reliable property managers.
I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.
