Your Questions About Rego Park Queens

October 22, 2012

David asks…

North Fork Bank?

Just wanted to let you know do not use the Rego Park (Queens, New York) branch. The manager there is not nice to customers or the staff.

I was a customer there and I go in now and it is totally empty – use the other branches or go to the other banks in the area.

Administrator answers:

Playing devils advocate here….there may no longer be a branch there anymore since Capital One Bank has now acquired North Fork Bank and may close some branches. Maybe he knows he’s getting the “pink slip”?

Granted, NO excuse for treating customers and staff mean but who knows if that could be the reason.

Mary asks…

Will my mail get there tomorrow?

I dropped it off in the postal blue box on thursday 3:00 and the last pickup is at 5:00 p.m., so i guess they picked it up on thursday evening, and i am sending it regional from Rego Park in Queens, NY to Flushing,NY to a school will it get there tomorrow?

Administrator answers:

I don’t see why it should take longer.

Helen asks…

Dont you think Capital One should listen?

Capital One not listening to staff Put Capital One on the list as being one of the companies who do not listen to employees or ex-employees. They have a female branch manager at the Rego Park Branch in Rego Park, Queens, NY who is a horror show. And the staff and the customers want her replaced. Associates Relations and the CEO have so much damaging evidence to terminate her but refuse to do it. Yet if another branch manager or staff pull what this branch manager pulls they are fired in an instance
Capital One was voted a while ago the top 100 companies to work for but they are not living up to their vote.

I say any one who banks at the Capital One Rego Park Branch should contact the CEO and/or Employee Relations and tell them they want the branch manager out. If you dont know her name call the branch.

Administrator answers:

I think they should listen. Shame on them. Ten points please?

Ken asks…

My question: Would you still go in?

Just wanted to let you know do not use the Rego Park (Queens, New York) branch. The manager there is not nice to customers or the staff.

I was a customer there and I go in now and it is totally empty – use the other branches or go to the other banks in the area.

this manager has yelled at the staff, belittled the staff in front of customers. Harassed the staff as well as the customers.

Called the staff names in front of customers. Never lets the staff do their job.

Even:
The manager has told customers off. Lies, cheats, threatens both customers and staff.
There are some things I cannot put on the web because I was told in confidence.
Customers have complained to the CEO about the manager

My qustion: can tell other people not to go into that branch thanks.
I dont go into the branch. I pass by and see it is empty. And when I see the staff outside on their lunch they tell me this manager is still a b*t*h

Administrator answers:

U just did

Mark asks…

Very important to me. For personal reasons I need to know if anybody knows how I can…..?

I am looking for a George Farkas, or any of his decendants. He was the owner of Alexanders Department Store in Rego Park, Queens.

I am referring to the 1960′s through 19??, as I do not know when the store closed down.

Anyone that thinks they might know how I can locate him, or his decendants please answer me. Even if your answer might be remotly possible.

I looked up on the web already, how to find the owner of the store, but the web site only gave me the name of the owner of Alexanders department store at that period of time.

Any slight info to find him, or any of his decendants will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Administrator answers:

I read an article about the alexander reopening in the google but the article date is sometimes in 1992. Maybe it would help you because the chairman of the alexander is Mr. Robin Farkas he maybe related to Mr. George Farkas. Try to search in google type in alexanders department store in rego park, queens.

William asks…

After you read let me know what you think?
