Your Questions About Studio Homes In Miami

Steven asks…

Do you actually believe that it is possible that Wyclef Jean is broke? see details below?

He is one of my favorite rappers and singers but there has been a lot of buzz about his finances lately…
Mid year 2008 he was sued by NYC Jeweler Jacob & Co. for $319,680 for unpaid watches & jewelry
In January he made a very public statement to the press about “a couple of studio sessions” he did with Michael Jackson right after he did “Blood On The Dance Floor”. Wyclef stated “It was a long time ago now, but I still haven’t been paid. Mike knows the money he owes me. I just wish he’d get in touch”.
On Dec 12th 2008 in Downtown Miami a canal front home his corporation owes Home Equity Mortgage $2.4 million on will go up for auction. He also owes the contractors who had been working on renovating the home.
Speculations are that he is in deep financial trouble. I don’t see how, he’s always putting out fabulous music, his wife is a famous model and has her own clothing line. Just wanted personal opinions? I’m not hating on him, like I said, I love the guy.

I think Honest One is Barbie Battle’s Alt Profile

Administrator answers:

Well, he owns a Mclaren F1 (million dollar super car) and a Pagani Zonda F (350,000 car).

He needs to get himself together.

Jenny asks…

Would you do a gay porn scene if offered $1000 to do one 20 minute movie?

I live in Tampa, Fl (turned 18 this May) and I applied to be a model at a gay porn studios in Miami and they offered me $1000 to shoot gay porn basically just warmup BJ, anal and comeshot on the abdomen and that’s with another actor for $1000 with condoms provided.

They didn’t offer transportation since Tampa is so close to Miami but I’m going to Miami for college anyways and I need the money because I don’t have scholarship and my parents are only providing me with $2000.

I’ve spoken to my older brother regarding this at home and he said he is 100% against seeing how this will leave a scar on our family having one member sell our body out (he got scholarship, worth $3500 AND entering in third year university in Tampa so I wouldn’t say he understands my position very well).

So should I go? It is $1000 for one scene, and possibility for more.

Administrator answers:

This has more to do with your personal beliefs than any of ours. Can you live with yourself later? Will this scar you for life? Also, does the idea turn you on at all? I assume your a guy and for a guy to do porn requires a certain amount of…um….hardness? So you would have to be able to be turned on by it. Now, if you aren’t gay phobic, have no qualms with it and get a little turned on by the idea, then i say go for it. You can even see it as a job if you want. Just know that it could wind up being life altering for you! Personally I would do it if I wasn’t married!

Joseph asks…

buying a condo prices?

Hello, I live in Miami Beach and I am getting ready to start thinking about buying my first home. I am still very young and don’t like the whole house thing. I want to live central so Im thinking of a condo. The only problem is I am very very new at these large purchases. I was curious how much money I should be able to afford a month for condo payments for a decent condo in Miami Beach ( just me and my girlfriend so a studio or one bedroom). Thank you!

Administrator answers:

Do you have good credit? If not, you will be paying very high interest rates. Also, do you have money for a down payment? Also, do you have a stable job that you will need to show to the lender to show that you’re good for the money? And the more central you want to be, the higher the price.

So you should be aware that you’ll be spending at least $1000 (this is a very, very low estimate and possibly unrealistic) a month for your mortgage, and at least $100 (depends if the condo has amenities like a gym, pool, etc) a month on HOA fees, and you need to also add in your property tax and monthly utilities bills (if they’re not covered by your HOA fees) like heat, electricity, cable tv, internet, phone etc.

For more information about all this, you should speak to a realtor AND a mortgage broker. Definitely a mortgage broker so you know how much you can realistically afford, that way when you see a realtor you already have a budget to work with so you’re not wasting the realtor’s time or your own.

No, Fox does. Fox news is in all the standard cable packages. MSNBC is not. I wonder what it cost Murdoch to get Fox in all the standard packages, don’t you?

Betty asks…

What do you think of Randy Orton starring in ‘The Marine: Homefront’?

Randy Orton to star in ‘The Marine: Homefront’
WWE taps Scott Wiper to direct third installment in franchise
By Marc Graser
Orton
WWE is rounding up the troops for its third installment of “The Marine” franchise, tapping Randy Orton to star and Scott Wiper (“The Condemned”) to direct “The Marine: Homefront.”
The actioner, designed as a standalone pic, is the first of three straight-to-homevideo titles that WWE Studios will produce with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment through a deal brokered in February.

Both will start promoting the pic during WWE fan event “WrestleMania Axxess” this weekend at Sun Life Stadium, in Miami, before “WrestleMania” takes place April 1, which will be headlined by Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson versus John Cena. Fox will enable fans to read for a walk on part in the movie.

Orton, one of WWE’s biggest names, will portray a Marine who is forced to put his skills to the test when a radical militia group kidnaps his rebellious daughter. The unrelenting soldier does whatever is necessary to save his daughter and to stop a terrorist attack masterminded by the militia leader.

Production starts June 11 in Vancouver.

Wiper most recently wrote and executive produced Summit’s actioner “The Cold Light of Day,” starring Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver, out in September. He also directed Lionsgate’s “The Condemned,” which starred WWE alum “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and was co-produced by WWE in 2007.

Orton previously had a small role in WWE Studios’ drama “That’s What I Am,” that starred Ed Harris and received a limited theatrical release last year.

Fox distribbed the first “Marine” theatrically in 2006, that starred WWE’s John Cena. Pic earned $22 million worldwide. It was enough to warrant a direct-to-homevid follow up in 2009, starring WWE’s Ted DiBiase Jr., aimed at WWE’s action-loving audience.

Fox will distrib “The Marine: Homefront” worldwide on DVD, Blu-ray, VOD and as a digital download, with WWE set to promote the film across its various platforms. Pic will also eventually unspool on the company’s WWE Network, set to launch sometime later this year.

Didn’t we already see that movie with Cena playing that character? Wife, daughter, girlfriend, it’s all the same; damsel in distress needs saving by the virtuous hero. That movie was pretty good, but I didn’t see the, uh “sequel” with Ted Dibiase Jr. So I don’t know the plot of that movie. But it can’t be a “stand alone” entry into the series if it’s a rehashed plot with a different star. And Cena already has the “action star” role in the WWE (movie side of things). Orton needs to find another niche if he is to separate himself from Cena, and not be seen as following in Cena’s footsteps, step for step. Myself, I’ve always thought Orton would make a good lawman in western movies. He sure has the “steely-eyed gaze” of a Clint Eastwood and the rough gravelly voice, plus the height.

It’s cool that the WWE guys are getting chances to be movie stars, but they can’t have their two biggest stars doing the same things in separate movies. They either have to make those two a team and both be “action stars” or give Orton another type of role to play.

Who’s the next “Marine” rescuing the damsel in distress? Dolph Ziggler? Otunga?

And when does Santino get his turn to be the “Marine”? “You kidnap-a my girl? Ooh, that make-a me so mad! You should not-a do dat; you no like-a me when I get-a mad” and Santino pulls out that damn green sock to go on a “Cobra” Rambo rampage.

EDIT: Chicago Knight, I like the “anthology” idea”. Here’s a few more possibilities: “The Marine: Weapon of Mass Destruction” starring the Big Show loaded up on Eddie Guerrero’s special burritos out to rescue Kelly Kelly from the clutches of evil; “The Marine: Stranger in a Strange Land” starring Eugene tasked with finding Vince’s long-lost “bastard son” held captive by enemy forces; “The Marine: Zombie Apocalypse” starring The Undertaker and Kane as Marines sent out to contain and stop the outbreak of, uh “zombie-ism” only to be engulfed in it, setting up a direct sequel, “The Marine: Taker and Kane Suck” which sees Special Forces operative Gangrel find them and turn them into vampires and the three of them stop the zombie outbreak; and “The Marine: I’m Vince McMahon, Dammit!” sees Vince doing whatever is necessary to stop the conspiracy (headed up by Triple H) trying to oust Vince from the WWE.

Ruth asks…

Is 1,200,000 too much to sell my home for?

I own a 1 bedroom home with an outhouse in Chicago, IL. It has a large .05 acre plot of land and is right down the road from NBC news studio 1A in Rockefeller plaza. It is directly beside the Chicago O’hare airport. We are selling it ourselves and we have no clue how much to list it for. Additional details are below. Thanks for your input!
- Appliances were recently updated in 1982
- It has a large 34 square foot formal living area
- Short walk to Miami, Fl.
- Short bike ride and canoe trip to Hawaii.
- Recently updated carpet
- Mohagony outhouse door.
- Cat comes with house.

Daniel asks…

Why does Colin Farrell keep getting challenging film roles after all of his critical and commercial bombs?

He was just announced as the lead in a Peter Weir film (it’ll be his first in 8 years), not to mention the 5 films he has coming out.

Do studio execs ignore his critical and commercial bombs recently?

Pride and Glory
Cassandra’s Dream
Miami Vice
Ask the Dust
The New World
Alexander
A Home at the End of the World

7 of his last 8 films had domestic grosses that were far lowr than their production budgets; and were also critically panned.

How does he keep getting challenging roles even though “In Bruges” is first successful film in 5 years?

Administrator answers:

Good question

I suppose when you are famous, you can get big roles, even if your latest movies have flopped.

In hollywood, hiring actors who are famous will often bring in bigger bucks than hiring actors who aren’t famous but are very talented. Sad but true
