Your Questions About Studio Homes Las Vegas

Steven asks…

How can a person in the LA,CA area live on their own making $10-$12 an hour?Who has Aspergers?

For many many years and I’m long overdue I have tried and wanted to get out of my parents house. I’m a 29 year old male still stuck living with my parents in their house. When I graduated college at age 23 in 2004 I had planned to move out of my parents house. Unfortunately My BA degree in radio-TV-Film got me nowhere.

Over the past 6 years I have had jobs that pay between $8-$12 per hour. In my area renting a room in an apartment or another persons house goes for $750 or more per month. A studio apartment goes for $1000 or more a month. With the type of jobs I have had in the past there is no way I mean no way I can afford to even live with a roomate for $750 per month.

I’m frusterated to no end!

Currently I live in my parents house in Encino,California.

I’m an only child.

I want to live my life as an independant Adult! Its very childish to still be living at home at age 29. I’m embarrassed and discusted!

My psychologist tells me to move out with roomates. I tell her and other people over and over and over that with the low paying jobs I have had and have I make way too little to live with a roomate even.

Sadly the only want for me to move out of my parents house is to live in my car or move out of the Los Angeles area to Fresno,Bakersfield, Las Vegas or someplace where housing costs are more affordable.

I sadly don’t have any friends I can live with. I’m lost

What should I do?

I grew up in Encino and have lived there since age 3.

I went to California State University Northridge as well.
Since I have Aspergers I have few acquantances. I don’t have any friends.

I feel like a child living in my parents house.

Its 100 times harder for me to get a job that it is for a person without aspergers.

I want a girlfriend but can’t find one who will accept me.

I do have a car of my own.
I have a car of my own that I could pack boxes and pieces of luggage in and move somewhere outside of the Los Angeles area.

But since I don’t have any family elsewhere I could get homesick.

Administrator answers:

Simple. Move out to somewhere you can afford to live! If you tell yourself reasons why you can’t they are lies, don’t listen to them, GET OUT!! I have asperger’s too so I know how you feel about the jobs.

But move out become independent and you can overcome even this disease. You know like those people who their doctors say they’re never gonna walk again but then they become triatheletes. Lol

In my area secretaries get paid $12 an hour.

I have gone on many many interviews for radio sales and no luck.

I don’t have the personality to do radio sales.

Administrator answers:

Why are still doing menial jobs? You need to find something else. Even working as a secretary will bet you 24-25 an hour. Those gardeners you see working every day get 30, and since they are illegals that is tax free money.

It seems like the problem is your choice of employment. There are hundreds of radio stations that would hire you, commission sales can bring in big bucks.

My name is Elvis Aaron Presley. I was born on January 8th, in the year of 1935. I was born a twin, but I remain a twin no longer. My twin brother, Jesse Garon, died shortly after our birth. It was said that I would do many great things…
When I was eight years old, I hitchhiked to a local radio station to perform on their “Saturday Jamboree”. My original hair color was infact blond. But when I was ten, I colored it black. For my eleventh birthday, I received the most important gift of my life- a guitar. That marked the beginning of my music career. I started singing and taking my guitar to school. Playing , “Old Shep,” and many other folk songs, during lunch.
My family moved to the state of Tennessee, to the city of Memphis. I was in High School around the time we moved. My father, Vernon Presley, could never keep a job, and my mother Gladys Presley, did not get paid enough to support our family. So we moved to Memphis, hoping my father would get a steady job. I graduated high school, in 1953. After graduating, I went and auditioned for Marion Keisker, at Sun Studios. The following year, I returned to Sun Studios, and recorded a sample record, with Sam Phillips listening in. On July 5th, 1954, I recorded my first single, “That’s All Right.”
Then in 1955, after a show I was doing in Jacksonville, Florida, Kernel Tom Parker, came up to me and asked me if I wanted to sign a contract with him. I reluctantly agreed.
In 1956, I became very popular. I made my first television appearance in January. I appeared on Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey’s “Stage Show”. Also, I performed on Ed Sullivan’s popular variety show, “Toast of the Town”. Then I made my first movie. “Love Me Tender”, came out in New York City, in November.
In 1957, I spent five-hundred thousand dollars, renovating an old estate, which I recently purchased. Calling it “Graceland”, it’s area consists of 13 acres. In December, five days before Christmas, I received notice that I was drafted into the army. Kernel Tom Parker pulled some strings so I could finish filming my fourth movie, King Creole. My other movies were, Loving you, and Jailhouse Rock. After completing King Creole, I reported to Fort Chaffee, in Arkansas, on March 24th.
Then in August, 1958, Gladys Presley tragically died. I was astounded and filled with grief. I immediately flew home.
A few weeks after the death, I departed to Wiesbaden. Which is in Germany. That is where I met Priscilla Beaulieu. Who is the daughter of an American Air Force Captain. When I discovered that she was only in ninth grade, I was astonished. Nevertheless, I saw her day after day. Finally, I told her that I really liked her, even though I was twenty four, and she was only fourteen.
In 1960, I completed my tour of duty. Leaving behind Priscilla, I left to go home to the United States. A while after I returned home, I performed on television with Frank Sinatra in May.
On March 25th, 1961, I performed live in Honolulu, Hawaii, at a benefit in honor of the U.S.S. Arizona. That was my last live show performance for a while. If anyone wanted to see me perform, they would have to buy tickets.

NEED MORE INFO!!!!!

In 1963, I had Priscilla and her family flown to Los Angeles for a visit. The Bealieus agreed to let Priscilla stay in Memphis with me.

NEED MORE INFO!!!

In 1967, I signed a new contract on January 2nd, giving Kernel Parker half of my earnings. I recorded, “How Great Thou Art”, which won me my first grammy. On May 1st, In Las Vegas, I married Priscilla, who has been living in Graceland for about 5 years.
We had a baby girl, named Lisa Marie, who was born on February 1, 1968.
I made it back to television December 3rd with a Christmas special, that rejuvenated my career as a live performer.

Administrator answers:

Read it real slow. Lol. Just kidding.

Just find a forum that is strictly about Elvis and ask on it.

Find articles about him, his boyhood, siblings, first love, kids, etc.

How did he start off?
Why did he go from Gospel to worldly music?
How did this effect society and the culture in his day?

Thomas asks…

Do you think I can get this shirt back? Please answer, this means a lot to me.?

So, I made a really stupid move and I leant my friend my favorite tee shirt because she forgot a shirt at one of our sleep overs. The next morning I let her wear it home so that she wouldn’t have to drive home in a bra. Now I can’t find the shirt and she “says” she doesn’t haven’t but I KNOW she hasn’t even looked in her room for it. The shirt is from Las Vegas. It’s purple with the huge glittery lion on it that I got by the lion habitat at MGM studios hotel when I visited with my parents. The shirt just held a lot of sentimental value for me and I’m devastated that I lost it. Do you know any sites to get it back? Any links? I tried the MGM online store without any luck. Please only answer if you have some constructive advice…. thanks!

Administrator answers:
